I then became a specialist doctor in Emergency Medicine and then Psychiatry. I have a specialist interest in lifestyle medicine. I enjoy most forms of exercises, travel and walking my dogs.

Dr L Evans
MBBS (2012 Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry), MRCGP (2017) DRCOG (F)

Originally from Birmingham, I moved to Plymouth in 2006 to study medicine, and fell in love with the Southwest. I enjoy all aspects of General Practice and have a post graduate diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I am a keen photographer and like spending my spare time outdoors, particularly on the coast. If I’m not outdoors, I’m probably watching any type of sport!

Dr R Sarai
MBBS, Medical college TVPM, India 2003), MRCGP 2020

I moved to Plymouth in 2008 and worked in Derriford Hospital for 6 years and was quite happy doing Hospital medicine till I did a taster week in GP in one of the GP practices and loved the whole experience. I applied for GP training after that and never looked back !
I love travelling and visiting different countries and getting to know the people and their culture. I also value the time I spend with my family and friends.

Registrar Doctors

We also have registrar doctors with us who are doing their GP training. A GP registrar is a fully qualified doctor who has worked within different hospitals. They join the practice in order to get experience in a GP practice in order to pass their exams.

They are not shadowed by the doctor during consultation; however they will discuss your problem with the GP’s if they feel that your problem is complex.

As we are a training practice, we occasionally have student doctors attached to us as part of their training.

We will let you know when you make an appointment if there is a student present. You then have the option of seeing the doctor without the student present if you so wish.
