How to Book an Appointment
You can make an appointment in the following ways:
Home Visits
We offer both routine and urgent home visits. When requiring a home visit, please submit a Klinik as normal (we do have an exception to help housebound patients complete forms) it must state on the Klinik it is a request for a home visit and with much detail as possible so the GP can assess the degree of urgency. The Duty GP will then triage these requests to ensure the most appropriate action is taken.
As with any routine appointment, we will aim to make sure you see the doctor of your choice for a routine visit; however this is not always possible.
Medication Reviews
Your medication will be reviewed by a GP or pharmacist every six to twelve months. This is to ensure you are still taking the correct medication. As a result of this review, you may be contacted by the surgery to attend for a routine appointment with a GP or with a nurse for bloods. Sometimes this will be appropriate for a routine phone call.
If you have any concerns or queries about your medication, please contact the pharmacist in the first instance.
Cancelling an Appointment
If you are unable to make your appointment, please complete our online form or ring as soon as possible, preferably giving at least 24 hours notice, so someone else can take advantage of your appointment slot.
Sometimes the receptionists are able to deal with your queries for you, so do not hesitate to ask them for help or information.
